If you live with your Mom, make this for her Saturday night, or watch the lesson and make it for her on Sunday! If you do not live with your Mother, watch the lesson virtually together, and then set up a Zoom meeting where you guys can do it together online after watching this lesson. Memories are made in the kitchen and even here online :) You are going to love it!
Our live lessons are set up as a webinar, so you will see 1-4 of my cameras on throughout the lesson. Your camera or audio will not be on. You will be able to chat and send messages, comments or questions to us at anytime. My husband Alvaro is behind the computer the whole time communicating with me all of your questions. Ill teach one part at a time, and then after each segment Ill make sure to answer any questions. I also stay on at the end if anyone would like extra assistance.Â
As this lesson is packed with a lot of information in a short period of time, I definitely recommend you watch the lesson first, and then practice what you learned immediately after or the next few days following the lesson. Our guests have had the best learning experience by printing + reviewing the recipes prior to the lesson, taking notes throughout and asking plenty of questions. If you feel comfortable, you are welcome to cook with me, however the pace of the lesson stays the same and moves quickly. If you do plan on cooking with me, you will want to prep all your ingredients and have them out, measured and organized together for each dish according to the recipes given. Also have out all of the tools, pots and kitchen appliances needed as well.Â
I pride myself on focusing to teach you how to cook, not how to follow a recipe. Ill guide you to use your senses to know when your dishes are done, tasting, seeing, smelling etc. After this lesson is over it is my hope that you will be able to make these dishes confidently! These recipes given can be made as is, or feel free to be creative and modify them to your liking. For each dish I teach, I always teach the base of the dish and then explain what you can do to enhance its flavors with additional ingredients.Â
As always, you are welcome to call text or email many anytime if you have any questions before the lesson, or when you make these dishes on your own. I often will Facetime my guests when they need assistance so I can help you if you need! If you do not already, follow me on Instagram @chefstephaniechinchilla where you will be informed of the most up to date events coming up. When you make the dishes I would love it if you would send me a pic via text or tag me in your post. It brings me so much joy to see your hard work! You can also learn more about us at www.chefchinchilla.com
All recipes will be sent to you at least 72 hours prior to the lesson so you have time to shop and prep. If you haven't seen it yet, take a look at your spam incase it was sent there :) If you are joining last minute, watch and take notes, and then shop and make the dishes sometime within the week.
